"Far & Away The Best"

"I have a thick, coarse, and unruly beard but relatively sensitive skin underneath. Last winter I shaved and restarted my beard a couple times to try different brands (King C Gilette, Grave Before Shave, Viking Revolution) and see how it went sticking with each. Some brands only did decent beard oil, some only beard balm. Out of all of the balms, Mountaineer Brand was leagues better than most of the competition. While some brands are thin and almost oily; this is nice & thick, providing good hold and moisturization. It stays put without melting off like some others and usually lasts a solid 24 hours. The scents that I've tried have been great. They start pretty stong, but after a short period tapers down a little and maintains for a good duration. I've used both Pine Tar and Timber; both have been exceptional. Timber has eucalyptus which also had the unanticipated (but extremely welcome) side effects of giving my skin a pleasant little long-lasting tingle and keeping my sinuses nice and open even during peak cold & flu season. As for the sensitive skin under my beard, it stays well moisturized with absolutely no irritation or flaking. Would 100% keep buying and recommend to anyone looking for a great smelling, long lasting beard balm."
